Meet Dr Wood

      Dr John Wood was born in Cedar City, and raised in Annabella Utah, in Sevier County.
Dr Wood was the 4 th of 8 children in the family. Dr Wood is excited to serve this community as
he was raised in a small town in southern Utah and feels this will be very helpful in serving the
good people of Price and neighboring communities. Dr Wood graduated from South Sevier
High School in Monroe, served an LDS mission to Sweden, then completed a degree in Sports
Medicine at BYU. He then attended dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry
in Milwaukee Wisconsin, graduating in 2002.

     For the past 18 years, Dr Wood worked and raised his family in Western Colorado, in the
communities of Grand Junction and Montrose. Although they very much enjoyed Colorado, Dr
Wood is following his kids and returning to Utah to be with family.

     Dr Wood has been practicing 21 years and has a lot of experience in all areas of General
Dentistry, including fillings, crowns and bridges, endodontics, surgery (difficult extractions and
wisdom teeth) implants, dentures, cosmetic dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Dr Wood enjoys
his profession and being able to help people to be relieved of pain, enjoy good oral health, or
help them to look and feel better about themselves. He looks forward to meeting you and
your family in the near future and being able to help you with your dental needs.
